Hello to all, I hope that everyone is doing well,  I have to admit I have been sick the past two days, and I will tell you that it is good to be feeling better!  Today I want you to think about the life that you have, what are the stories of your life and how do you find God in those stories.  For me I love stories, I love capturing stories with video.  Today I want you to watch some of the stories of Toby Mac.  Listen as he captures the power of Jesus in His life from when he was boy.  Check it out…

The Challenge:  Today I want to challenge you to take some time and think about your own story.  Your story is far from complete, but you have a story.  I challenge you to pick up a pen and put your story to paper.  Look for God in your story.  Highlight where He has worked and is working in your life.  You don’t have to do it in one sitting, but get it started.  We often times believe that God is not in our life or doing anything, but when we stop and give it some thought we see that God is in every part of our story.  A great place to start is to think about the moment that you accepted Christ into your heart.   Hey if you were young and you don’t think you can remember, ask God to revel to you the moment, you accepted His Son.  You may have been young and you might not remember much, but what is cool is the fact that God remembers, and He will show you.

Verse For The Day:  Okay why do I want you to go through this process, I simply want you to realize that you are His son or daughter.  He Loves YOU and is active and alive in your life.  Sometimes we forget this fact and we believe that we are not connected to God.  Check out our verse for the day.  Romans 8:16 God’s Spirit touches our spirits and confirms who we really are.  We know who he is , and we know who we are: Father and children.  Wow, God loves us so much and He is in our lives.  Dig it He is Good.

Thank you for taking the challenge, thank you for tuning in. Keep it up there is so much more to know about God, and so much He wants to show us about ourselves and who we were made to be.  It is an awesome Journey!
Be Blessed!

Hello to all, I hope that everyone is doing well after an Awesome X Games weekend.  I missed two days with the busyness of the Conference and YWAM staying at the church.  I am so sorry about that.  But we are back an ready to go.  So jump into this cool video about shoes and see how it affects you.   It is pretty awesome!

The Challenge:  Okay it is something that all of us can fall into, the need to judge others and make them feel less than us.  It happens all the time.  We judge.  But When I think about Jesus and God, I am amazed by there goodness an how awesome they are.  Jesus brings more people to His father through His kindness, the kindness of God is what causes us to follow Him.  So today I challenge you not to judge, but to show kindness to everyone.  To Let people see your kindness and gentleness.  It is way easier to judge than it is to show kindness, but the more that you show kindness the easier it gets!Spend today showing and giving others your kindness.

Verse For The Day:  Ephesians 4:32 Be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, as God in Christ forgave you.  Wow do you ever think about how much Jesus forgives us, how much He loves us.  I don’t feel a ton of judgment from Him.  I feel love and forgiveness.  I really have to think how my interactions with others would be different if I treated people around me like these verse is calling us to be.  Give it a try let this verse lead you today!

Thank you for tuning into the challenge, keep it up! Over time these thoughts and challenges will shape and form you into the person God created us to be! Stay the course!
Be Blessed!
Praying for you,

Hello to all!  Do you believe that God is Good?  Do you see God doing things around you each day?  Do you expect Him in the little things as well as the big things?  If God is Good and He seeks to help us each day then we need to be looking for Him in the little things as well as the big things.  Check out this cool video that makes the point very clear.

The Challenge:  Today I want you to continue to live in expectation of God being there for you and helping you with not only the big things but also the small things.  Your challenge today is to see God in the little things and thank Him for them.  Pay close attention and live with expectation.  See how many times today you can thank God for the things that He is doing around you.  Live with expectation.

Verse For The Day:  Todays verse comes from Chronicles 16:34 Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good; his love endures forever.  This verse encourages us to give God thanks all the time for all the things that He does.  It reminds us that He is Good, and that His goodness and love endure forever.  Stop today and thank God for all that He is doing and live with expectation!

Thank you for tuning into YDC!  I hope that you are growing deeper and closer to God as you journey with Him each day!  Stay the course and live with expectation!
Be Blessed! Praying For You!

Hello to all!  I hope that everyone is doing well today!  Great weekend coming up with the X Games in town, great conference at Crossroads!  Busy weekend!  I want to thank you for taking the time to jump into YDC!  Stay the course and keep digging into all that God has for you.   Last night Wednesday night we started talking about the fact that God is Good.  We talked about the fact that we should have expectation in God for Good things.  We should never be afraid to draw close to God and see that He is Good and that He Loves us.  Today it is all about expectation.  What do you believe happens after you pray?  Do you really believe that He heard you?  Do you believe that your prayers will be answered?  Check out this awesome video on expectation and prayer.

The Challenge: Today I want you to pray to God with Expectation and belief in Him!  Believe in what you pray for and believe in the God who Hears Your Prayers and that they will be answered!  God is Great and POWERFUL.  So today believe in that God.  Pray and believe.  Simple challenge, Yes Or No.

Verse For The Day: Today i want you to understand that we are to believe in God and in that we are to stay with Him, live in Him, and draw everything that we need from Him.  Check out John 15:7 If you abide in me, and my words abide in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you.  This verse tells us that we need to believe and truly live as though we believe.  We must pray and believe that what we have prayed for will be answered.  We must see that God is real and He is complete in all things, we must see that He is with us when we are with Him.

Thank you for digging into YDC today.  Believing in God and trusting in God are core to who we are.  They make us a light to others.  BELIEVE IN HIM REALLY, See how that one expectation will change your day and others around you.
Be Blessed!

Hello to all, I hope that everyone is doing well!  Today I want you to think about the fact that you are God’s son or daughter.  He is your Ultimate Daddy!  He is good, so as you think about being a reflection of Him I want you to consider this video from Brent Phillips my good friend.  It is titled The Butter Fly Effect.  It is awesome!

The Challenge:  Okay so do you believe that a small Butterfly can have that effect?  I do.  So what effect do you have on the world around you?  Today I challenge you to do good whenever you have a chance to do good.  Be a reflection of your Awesome Daddy God!  He is always seeking to do Good because He is Good.  Now you go do the same thing.  Do Good!  You want have to look far to find a good thing to do, this I promise you.  Simply ask God to allow you to have an opportunity to do Good  today and He will bring it to you.  You will have to simply step up to the challenge and go for it!  Take this challenge and see how it changes your day!

Verse For The Day:  Today look at Galatians 6:9-10 9 Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up. 10 Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all people, especially to those who belong to the family of believers.  We are to do good because our God is good we are a light in the darkness reflecting God to the world around us.  Write this verse down and and carry it with you today as a reminder that you can do the challenge and that you can do good!

Thank you for tuning into YDC today!  I want to hear about the good that you did, I want to hear about how it changed your day.  Let me know what you think about the butterfly effect.  Leave a comment it will encourage others.  You are awesome and remember who your Daddy is because He is Good!
Praying for you!

Hello to all!  This Wednesday Night we will be digging into God’s Goodness, and if God is Love and He is good then shouldn’t we think that God is in a good mood?  What are your expectations about God?  Do you think that He is in a good mood, all the time?  How you think about God does not change God, but how you think about God determines what you expectation of God will be.  Jesus is the visible image of the invisible God.  Take a look at this video that talks about our King Jesus and see if you can’t learn a few things about our awesome God.  Since Jesus came to show us who God is.

The Challenge:  Today I challenge you to expect great things!  That you would believe that God is good and that He has great things for you today!  So live with expectation!  We often live with expectation, but we are always waiting for the bad things to happen.  Today I want you to live with the understanding that your King Jesus is powerful and He shows us who the Father is and the Father is god and God is good.  Expect Good Things.  Then Leave a Blog Post If You Took This Challenge!  Tell US ABOUT IT…

Verse For The Day: Okay Like I say all the time if God showed up in the room and He was handing out gifts, you have to know that He is giving away good stuff.  This verse really speaks to that.  Allow it to encourage you to have great expectations in God.  James 1:17 17 Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of the heavenly lights, who does not change like shifting shadows.  God is good He doesn’t change He stays the course…  Have great expectations!

Okay so if these Daily Challenges are making you think, leading you closer to God and taking your relationship deeper levels leave a comment!  Stay the course and your life will be more than you ever dreamed it could be.  Thank you for tuning in! Great things await!

Hello to all!  I hope that you are having a good start to a new week! New days, New weeks, New Months, New Years.  Life is simply awesome!  You are awesome and I want to ask you a simple question.  How deep have you gone with God?  Know this I am proud of each one of you as you continue to dig deeper with God.  Trust me it is worth it!  Today I want to challenge you to seek Him more.  God is so awesome and He is what makes us awesome!  One of the best things about God is there is always more.  Take a look at todays video and know there is more.  More to experience and more to dream of when it comes to God.  He is calling you to the deep.

The Challenge: How many of you have been to the ocean?  Think about how big it is, or think of the mountains that surround us.  Think about how big they are and how easy it is for us to feel small in those places.  Well that is how big our God is.  There is nothing that is bigger than our God.  You are safe with Him, He is your protecter and there is nothing bigger than Him.  So today I want you to take this challenge.  All day long I want you to think about how Big God is.  I want you to think about the fact that you are His son or daughter.  You have a big PaPa looking over you and loving on you.  Your challenge is to simply live and believe that He is your PaPa and that he is big, so big nothing can harm Him and if nothing can harm Him then nothing will harm you.  Believe today I just challenge you to believe deeper than you have ever believed.

Verse For The Day: Todays verse is 2 Thessalonians 2:16-17 May our Lord Jesus Christ Himself and God our Father, who loved us and by His grace gave us eternal encouragement and good hope, encourage your hearts and strengthen you in every good deed and word.   Live today knowing that God Himself is encouraging you onward.  To know Him more, He is for you and He is our defender.  Focus on Him, not on the things that give you fear or cause you to defend yourself.  He is your Father!  Allow this verse to speak to you as you go for the challenge of the day!

Thank you!  Keep up the good fight and stand firm in what you believe in all things.  You guys and gals are awesome!  Now Have A Great Day!
Be blessed! Prayers for you!

Hello to all, I hope that you are having a great start to a new week!  A new week learning and living for God.  It is an exciting thing for sure.  Take a look at this video and ask yourself this question “do you have God in a box?”…  Get ready to dig in….

The Challenge: I challenge you to live with God out of the box, present in all that you do today!  Not just when you need Him, but allow Him to be a part of all that you do.  You see when we keep God in a box, we tend to lose our desire to live for Him.  When we don’t live for Him we find it hard to live out the life that He wants us to live!  So if you keep God in a box, Know this it is only in you thoughts that He is in a box, because our God is so awesome and powerful He can’t be held in a box.  You only limit yourself and your life when you think you have Him in a box…

Verse For The Day: Psalm 119:9-11 How can a young man keep his way pure? By guarding it according to your word. With my whole heart I seek you; let me not wander from your commandments! I have stored up your word in my heart, that I might not sin against you.   As you seek to live with God totally involved in all that you do know that you are living and seeking a life of purity and purpose for Him!  This life will be guided and protected by His word.  Take it to heart and seek to live the life that He longs for you to live.

Thank you for tuning into YDC.  Be blessed today and seek Him with everything! Praying for each of you!

Hello to all, awesome times are ahead for each of us who love God.  You gotta believe it.  Today and everyday God is in a good mood.  That is awesome to think about!  I long to be in a good mood each and every day for sure.  Today we have a great video to remind us that we choose, and the choice is ours.  Choose today to trust God and live defensive free!

The Challenge: Okay you think you can do it.  Live this way for a day.  Make it a point to check every attitude and every thought.  Make them line up to Romans chapter 12.  This is a big challenge and it is not easy, but we all can do it!  You can do it.  The Challenge today is to read Romans chapter 12 this version is from the Message Bible.  I have put it in a printable version at the bottom of this Challenge.  If you are tech savvy then you can print it and read it and study it and highlight the things that will challenge you the most.  If we live out this chapter of the Bible our lives will be transformed and the lives around us will be transformed as well.  It’s a BIG CHALLENGE but you can do it.

Verse For The Day: Romans 12The Message (MSG) Place Your Life Before God 12 1-2 So here’s what I want you to do, God helping you: Take your everyday, ordinary life—your sleeping, eating, going-to-work, and walking-around life—and place it before God as an offering. Embracing what God does for you is the best thing you can do for him. Don’t become so well-adjusted to your culture that you fit into it without even thinking. Instead, fix your attention on God. You’ll be changed from the inside out. Readily recognize what he wants from you, and quickly respond to it. Unlike the culture around you, always dragging you down to its level of immaturity, God brings the best out of you, develops well-formed maturity in you. 3 I’m speaking to you out of deep gratitude for all that God has given me, and especially as I have responsibilities in relation to you. Living then, as every one of you does, in pure grace, it’s important that you not misinterpret yourselves as people who are bringing this goodness to God. No, God brings it all to you. The only accurate way to understand ourselves is by what God is and by what he does for us, not by what we are and what we do for him. 4-6 In this way we are like the various parts of a human body. Each part gets its meaning from the body as a whole, not the other way around. The body we’re talking about is Christ’s body of chosen people. Each of us finds our meaning and function as a part of his body. But as a chopped-off finger or cut-off toe we wouldn’t amount to much, would we? So since we find ourselves fashioned into all these excellently formed and marvelously functioning parts in Christ’s body, let’s just go ahead and be what we were made to be, without enviously or pridefully comparing ourselves with each other, or trying to be something we aren’t. 6-8 If you preach, just preach God’s Message, nothing else; if you help, just help, don’t take over; if you teach, stick to your teaching; if you give encouraging guidance, be careful that you don’t get bossy; if you’re put in charge, don’t manipulate; if you’re called to give aid to people in distress, keep your eyes open and be quick to respond; if you work with the disadvantaged, don’t let yourself get irritated with them or depressed by them. Keep a smile on your face. 9-10 Love from the center of who you are; don’t fake it. Run for dear life from evil; hold on for dear life to good. Be good friends who love deeply; practice playing second fiddle. 11-13 Don’t burn out; keep yourselves fueled and aflame. Be alert servants of the Master, cheerfully expectant. Don’t quit in hard times; pray all the harder. Help needy Christians; be inventive in hospitality. 14-16 Bless your enemies; no cursing under your breath. Laugh with your happy friends when they’re happy; share tears when they’re down. Get along with each other; don’t be stuck-up. Make friends with nobodies; don’t be the great somebody. 17-19 Don’t hit back; discover beauty in everyone. If you’ve got it in you, get along with everybody. Don’t insist on getting even; that’s not for you to do. “I’ll do the judging,” says God. “I’ll take care of it.” 20-21 Our Scriptures tell us that if you see your enemy hungry, go buy that person lunch, or if he’s thirsty, get him a drink. Your generosity will surprise him with goodness. Don’t let evil get the best of you; get the best of evil by doing good.

Go for it do it, you won’t get it right every time, but if you start trying you will get there over time.  Today is a good day to start!   If you need tech help in the print area you may call or text.  My Cell is 970-319-2610  I will also have this section printed available for you to take home after XGT this Sunday. Go For It!   Dig In! And may your journey be filled with adventure!
Praying For You!

Hello to All!  So happy you are tuning in today!  Today the video is well a bit intense, but it is a short intense.  I hope you enjoy and then dig into the challenge as it will make the intensity of the dramatic video make sense.

The Challenge:  So today I challenge you to move, and break the chains of defending yourself against God.  Yeah I just typed that.  We have this incredible ability to defend ourselves against God.  We make excuses for not going all in, we make excuses for not accepting His healing.  We carry hurts and pains in our lives that we don’t need to hang on to.  When God attempts to show us the freedoms that He wants us to live in we hang on to our pains and we drop a million excuses that don’t even make sense.  So today I challenge you to this.  Take it to God, take it all to God and see what He returns to you.  Take your pain, your broken hearts, your scars from things in the past and lay it at His feet!  Live in freedom today and don’t defend yourself from God.  Trust Him and believe that He only has good things for you.   Do this: Talk to God this day about everything, let it be a running conversation in your head that keep going.  When God talks back don’t hold back, don’t defend, don’t make excuses.  Just listen and believe.
Give it a try and then come back to this post and post a comment on how you day was different.

Verse For The Day: The verse for today is the same verse that appeared in the video.  Galatians 5:1 5 It is for freedom that Christ has set us free. Stand firm, then, and do not let yourselves be burdened again by a yoke of slavery. Keep this verse in you head today, I love the part about standing firm, when God gives me freedom, the thief will attempt to take it away.  Don’t let him.  Stand firm and trust God.  Don’t block Him out with you defensive nature.  Let Go and Let God lead you to the freedom He wants for you…

Okay thank you for tuning in and staying the course.  It may seem hard at times but you can do it.  Let God be your defender and protecter!  He will not steer you wrong.  He will lead you to awesome places. Stay the course!
Praying for your journey,
ch
