What is it? A fundraiser to raise support to sponsor Compassion children around the world. How does it work? A team member (middle school student, high school student or leader) will commit to siking as many laps in one day on Buttermilk Mt. Top to Bottoms. The team member will solicit individuals to sponsor them and pay them a certain amount per lap or a total sum for the day of skiing. The money collected will go to sponsor Children from Compassion.

Our Goal: Our Goal is to sponsor two children this year. Each sponsorship will cost $456.00 dollars for the entire year. Each year we will continue the S2SL event with the hope of raising support for the children we already sponsor as well as being able to add more children to our sponsorship. If a middle school student participates in this event from their fifth-grade year to there Senior year. They will have had the opportunity to spend eight years sponsoring a child. With Compassion, they will have the opportunity to write to the children that S2SL supports. Being able to correspond with the children whom we are sponsoring is an awesome benefit to the program.
Our Vision: Our vision is that we will continue to sponsor a child until they no longer need support from Compassion, the age at which a child graduates from Compassion is between 18-22 years old. The S2SL is a long term vision it is a program that was thought up by two of our seventh graders who consistently attend XGT Sunday mornings.
Who: Any middle schooler or high schooler and leaders who have raised sponsorship.
